Sids urn

Sids Custom Urn...
When the mail man walked up to my shop door this morning without a package in his hands my heart dropped and I went into panic mode. I was told that The urn I ordered for my good friend Deyne Sid Stocker was to be delivered today, Which Leaves me only one day to paint. Having to find a new urn I frantically searched local Mortuary's only to find overpriced crap. At that point it hit me, Sid and I used to search through the piles of Brass and copper scrap down at the Ogden recycle plant. Its something we did together quit often. We both enjoy saving discarded "GEMS" as he called them from the melting oven and used them for many of the projects we worked on. I knew I had to be creative to make this work keeping an open mind looking though the pile and carefully examining every piece for consideration. Certain items I looked at just spoke to me. Finding an antique brass vase, Broken Captain's table Bell"1911", and "fred" my hotrod graciously donated his hood ornament that just so happen to screw right into the bell. At that moment I knew I was on my way to creating something Amazing.... I am starting the paint process now and will post progress photos on my page as I go, so please share. I will use these posts for Sids friends and family to come together to share ideas on designs and most important any kind of verbiage that you would like to see painted. Through my airbrush and our creative ideas. we will create something that our friend Sid would be proud to rest in. Please Stay tuned and don't be afraid to participate. Thanks you all for your support.
